Jane Himelfarb Quattrocchi – Attorney Profile
She has a comprehensive background in both defending medical malpractice cases on behalf of doctors and hospitals in addition to prosecuting claims on behalf of patients in both New York and Florida. Ms. Quattrocchi has also handled personal injury, product liability, and mass tort cases. She is comfortable in the Courtroom and will continue to try major cases in her new role with the firm.
Ms. Quattrocchi received her J.D. degree with honors from Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York and her BA degree from the State University of New York (SUNY). Ms. Quattrocchi also studied at the Tel Aviv University Faculty of Law in Israel and has lectured and written extensively on trial techniques and medical malpractice matters.
She has conducted seminars in the NITA Trial Techniques Program and the American Bar Association’s National Institute on Trademark Trial Advocacy. Ms. Quattrocchi is the author of “An Alcohol Abuser with Epigastric Pain… The Obvious Diagnosis May Not Be the Correct One” Medical Malpractice Prevention, 1991.
Ms. Quattrocchi has taught law classes at the university level and has experience as the Dean of Academics at a level six university. She is involved with the community and has worked with such local organizations such as The Humane Society, The Inner Truth Project and PACE Center for Girls. Her compassion for veterans of foreign wars has led her to participate in a “Tough Mudder” a competition in support of the Wounded Warrior project, working with Six String Heroes in St. Louis, Missouri, creating music to support returning veterans, and writing and performing an original piece “Coming Home” to support returning veterans, which can be found on YouTube.
Ms. Quattrocchi is licensed to practice law in both New York and Florida. In addition to state court, she is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the Court of Appeals for the Armed Services, The US Court of Federal Claims, the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and Federal District Court in New York’s Eastern and Southern districts.
